I have been in the real estate business for close to 20 years, first at Coldwell Banker Harbor Light, and since 2019 at Signature Premier Properties. I work all over Long Island, but my office is based in Amity Harbor. I live in Amityville and raised my family in this lovely village. Both my grown sons and their families live here as well. For over 30 years I was an editor at Newsday, and for more than 20 of those years I was an assistant managing editor running the paper's daily and Sunday feature sections. Long Island is home and a place I know very well. And I use that knowledge to help my clients make good decisions about real estate. Many of my clients have been with me for years....I've sold them their first homes, sold their parents' homes, and have made a specialty of helping them downsize and find a condo or a smaller home. Staging and helping with decluttering are among my skills. I work with several local real estate attorneys who are excellent, and have close relationships with several lenders who are incredibly helpful to my clients, guiding them smoothly through the mortgage process from start to finish. When I take a listing I always use professional photographers who provide quality pictures, floor plans and drone views. I always go the extra mile with my clients, helping them to find movers, companies that empty their homes, appraisers who value their art, antiques and other valuables, and provide services for donating household contents. I am up to date on information for solving mold issues, termites and other problems and difficulties that come up during inspections. I market my listings on social media, as well as high end magazines for luxury properties. I am a full service agent and happy to help with anything my clients need.
